![]() I like your Apple method though! It's accurate enough imo given they don't offer an API, but possibly could use GSX? Never touched it myself, still so much learning to do. Learned a butt ton while doing that, but it was some spaghetti code cuz I'm still learning :(. The team decided to not allow me to create a snapshot of all 800 machine before I left my position for some reason despite the fact that none of it was writing to our databases unless they wanted it to, it just wrote to the Google sheet. It used Selenium to go to their myproducts page and enter the serial numbers, nickname the device, and give me an updated warranty list which I exported and combined with our SCSM database + AD to create an accurate warranty Google spreadsheet. I actually made a script that got the warranties for Dell computers without an API, but man was it messy lol. and I can make up a story about how some DIY (do - it -yourself) part has failed, like a power adapter. Everything I've made I've only used for myself besides some app deployments (using ADT and some hand written things). For instance, if I have a serial number to a computer under warranty, or under Apple Care, I can call Apple Care (possibly have to pay 50 for support if its just under Limited Warranty and not AppleCare, but they waive this pretty easily).
